Online Summary Results At the press of a button the latest summary results are displayed online in real-time.
|
Online Analysis Check boxes at the top of the online summary results screen will allow you to modify the displayed data
Hide 0%’s The 'Hide 0%’s’ check box will make the results less cluttered and easier to read, particularly useful where you have used a question that has a long pick list.

| Show
filters The ‘Show filters’ is a powerful analysis facility that allows you to dynamically apply filters to the summary results. The 'Show Filters' facility will re-draw the summary results with check boxes against each response to allow you to query the results. For example, if your survey had requested the gender of each respondent and you were interested in seeing how the results differ between the genders you can check the ‘Male’ box as shown below.
After applying the above selection the results will be displayed only for male respondents.
....and by
checking multiple check boxes complex queries can be run such as in
the following example that has queried the results for all respondents
who were American females, aged between 18 and 44.
|
View Presentation
The 'View Presentation' facility will allow you to create a new display of the current summary results screen using the style guide of the published survey. By saving the link generated by the 'View Presentation' facility the individual queries can be saved and recalled at a later date.
|
Download detailed results If your survey contains responses that cannot be summarised you may want to download the detailed results, for example where contact information has been requested. When you order the detailed results the survey information is exported from the database and stored as Comma Separated Values (CSV) files which are delivered to you via email. To help you analyse the information Survey Galaxy also provide you with a spreadsheet template that contains a Survey Galaxy menu of Excel macros.
|
Importing the detailed results source information The import macro option will assist you in importing the detailed results source information.
...providing you with a Pivot table view of the detailed results.
By using the Pivot table filters all the survey questions can be listed.
By un checking the '(Show All)' box......
...and checking the boxes of the questions that you want to analyse,
the Pivot table will be refreshed and show only the selected questions and their corresponding responses.
|
Using the Calculate %'s Macros To help you analyse the selected information we provide two macro's that will calculate the individual percentages (one as formulas, the other as values; depending on how you wish to manipulate the information you may prefer one method over the other).
|
| Charts
The Survey Galaxy chart macros will at the click of a button generate separate charts for all the Pivot table information currently selected.
2D Column (Cluster) Charts
3D Column (Cluster) Charts
