Creating Surveys
Registration
Before you can CREATE any type of survey you must be registered.
Registering is FREE, and you can register either as a basic user that will require a valid email address or if you want to be able to create, manage and publish private surveys you will need to register as an advanced user where more details will be required.

For accounts that make use of Survey Galaxy's account management and control features that allows multiple authorised personnel access to the same account please note that in addition to the 'creator' all authorised users with the relevant privilege will be able to separately review summary result information and/or download detailed information.

Private surveys are free to create but carry a small charge when they are published.
A private survey operates in a similar way to a public survey, but allows greater control over who can access the survey. With a private survey you can define whether the respondents can complete the survey anonymously or not, and whether they should be registered as a user or not.
If you want to restrict access to your survey then you can attach a password to the survey that will need to be entered by your invited respondents to whom you have provided the password.
Only the creator of a private survey will be able to see the summary results of the private surveys they have composed and only the creator will have the option to purchase the full results as a downloadable exported delimited data file. A sample of the full results will be available free of charge.
A person invited to take part in a private survey will not be able to see nor will they be able to purchase any of the survey results.
